Our client is a globally active and leading high-tech company in the field of plant and mechanical engineering for thin-film production systems. The company is characterised by high-quality and innovative technologies as well as highly qualified and committed employees. To strengthen the team, we are looking for the following person for the location in the Rhine-Main area as soon as possible Sr. Sales Manager Precision Optics (all genders).

Your Tasks

  •  Maintaining existing customer relationships and expanding new business in the B2B sector with the aim of long-term partnerships
  •  Developing and implementing sales strategies and actively supporting the achievement of divisional targets
  •  Continuous monitoring of the market and competition and preparation of informative reports for divisional management and specialist departments
  •  Close co-operation with other departments such as Product Management, R&D, Production, After Sales and M arketing
  • Preparation of product calculations, quotations and system specifications according to individual customer requirements
  •  Preparation of corresponding contracts and negotiations with customers
  •  Monitoring/Management of products and technologies in terms of product life cycle  management
 

Your Profile

  • Successfully completed scientific or technical studies, e.g. in physics, materials science, mechanical engineering, etc.
  • Several years of experience in sales or product management in plant and mechanical engineering, preferably vacuum coating systems
  • Proven track record of successful business development, sales growth and market share gains
  • Good knowledge of vacuum and thin-film coating technology, ideally in the field of optical coatings (precision optics)
  • Business fluent in English, knowledge of German is an advantage
  • Trustworthy, convincing and loyal person with a high degree of goal-orientation
  • Structured and team-orientated way of working
  • Strong customer and market orientation
  • Experience with international customers
  • Willingness to travel to international customers
