Ihre Aufgaben

  • Langfristige Wachstumsentwicklung mit dem Kunden in Bezug auf Umsatz und strategische Beziehungen
  • Auf- und Ausbau eines Netzwerks auf Entscheider- / C-Level beim Kunden über Geographien und Geschäftsfelder hinweg
  • Markt- und Wettbewerbsanalyse in Bezug auf den verantworteten Account zur gezielten Identifikation zukünftiger Kundenbedarfe und Wachstumsmöglichkeiten
  • Erstellung um Umsetzung eines strategischen Account-Plans im Rahmen der allgemeinen Unternehmensziele
  • Enge Zusammenarbeit mit den internen Geschäftsbereichen und Regionalverantwortlichen, um ein breites und nachhaltiges Wachstum zu ermöglichen
  • Bilden und Führen von Projektteams, um die Kundenbedarfe bestmöglich zu adressieren
  • Entwicklung und Umsetzung eines Aktionsplans mit den Geschäftsbereichen
  • Verantwortung für Pipeline-Management und Account-Reviews

Ihr Profil

  • Idealerweise ein wirtschaftswissenschaftlicher Abschluss (Bachelor oder höher) bzw eine vergleichbare Ausbildung
  • 10+ Jahre Erfahrung im internationalen Account Management
  • Ausgeprägte Erfahrung mit und Netzwerk in der Siemens-Organisation
  • Ausgeprägte Erfahrung im Vertrieb von Dienstleistungen
  • Leadership / team management experience (mindestens auf Projektbasis)
  • Internationale Erfahrung (Vertriebsgebiet, Aufenthalt) und ausgeprägte interkulturelle Kompetenz
  • Erfahrung mit B2B-Direktvertrieb und Kooperationen
  • Authentische Persönlichkeit mit Freude an langfristigen Kundenbeziehungen

    Role

    As Head of Operations, reporting to the Executive Vice President/CEO Benelux, you will play a vital role in the further growth, development and management of the organization across multiple domains such as: People Management, Resource Management, Marketing, and Finance & Admin.

    Your goal will be to provide efficient and pragmatic support for the proper functioning of the entire office and as such freeing up time of the Exco members for “Client” work, as well as to collaborate with Exco sponsors on upgrading the current standards and practices of the internal organization, where relevant.

    You will be the operational backbone of the company and responsible for the day-to-day coordination of the internal workflow and practical concerns of the office as well as to implement processes and/or systems to help ensure good management of the organization, while securing and stimulating employee engagement and market reputation.

    The role is essential to the functioning and success of the team. You will be the key driver to ensure the organization is well positioned for success. Success will be measured on the basis of agreed quantitative and qualitative objectives per domain and the initiatives taken and contribution to the development of the practice in general.

    Key Responsibilities

    As Head of Operations, and reporting to the Managing Director (direct line) and all ExCo / Extended Leadership Team members (dotted line) and in line with the values and culture, you will be responsible for “each” domain to:

    • collaborate with the Executive Committee sponsors in setting and driving the organizational vision, operational strategies and needs;
    • translate strategies into actionable goals and to create, implement and roll out the plans for operational processes, infrastructures, systems, tools and policies;
    • either execute the agreed initiatives or to drive and monitor their execution;
    • implement dashboards and systems to measure results and progress;
    • identify and drive changes for improvement and implement or monitor the implementation of the necessary adjustments;
    • coordinate and assure the smooth running of the daily operations.

    Specific responsibilities and objectives per domain, will be provided in a later stage of the recruiting process.

    Required Experience/Qualifications

    Our client is seeking to hire a competent and versatile individual with the ability to keep an eagle-eye view on a wide range of topics. Ideally the candidate should have:

    • a minimum of 3 years of experience in (a) comparable role(s) (e.g. Operations Manager, Head of Business Operations, Office Manager, etc.) in a professional services environment;
    • direct and extensive experience/demonstrated success with running day-to-day operations as well as facilitating change and developing and implementing best practices and improvement projects;
    • hands-on experience with People Management and Digital Marketing, with preferably at least one of the other functional domains within scope;
    • a solid base in business planning: budgeting, forecasting and reporting;
    • strong experience in project management including planning, organizing and coordinating staff;
    • experience in cultivating company culture;
    • experience in working in international and fast-paced environments;
    • excellent knowledge of MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook);
    • a Masters  degree in a relevant field or similar by experiences;
    • Excellent command of English, Dutch and French.

    Previous Consulting delivery experience is considered a plus.

    A role with impact 

    As a Senior Supply Chain Transformation Manager, you will be a trusted advisor to our client’s customers and guide them through their large scale and often highly complex assessments and transformations of the end-to-end value chain. Through improvement programs, ranging from introducing specific processes (e.g. S&OP, reviewing the product portfolio, introducing procurement excellence, assessing and redesigning the physical network and product flow …) to using the latest developments in supply chain technology and analytics,… you are eager to maximize the supply chain performance of your clients. You commit to realize significant improvements in terms of: supply chain performance and flexibility, customer service delivery, reliability through the entire value chain and/or digital support of decision and planning processes to maximizing asset utilization while minimizing business risks.

    You will serve as the primary program contact for clients and play a key role in supporting them in their business progression programs.     • Project Management & Delivery: managing “in tandem with the client” the successful delivery of complex and challenging assignments transforming the supply chain from strategy to implementation, including all commercial -, financial -, project -, and people aspects and client relationship management. 
    • Client Management & Development: developing and/or maintaining strong client relationships and being recognized by them as a “trusted advisor”.  Taking advantage of your network to assist in growing the business through the origination of new opportunities and proposal development and enhancing the reputation of our client through the quality of own work, knowledge and experience.
    • Innovation: taking a leading role in development and innovation through the growing of intellectual capital and the support and development of other consultants and contributing to firm activities and internal knowledge management and sharing.

    Required Experience/Qualifications

    Ideally the candidate should have:

    • 7 to 15 years of experience in a consulting role covering multiple domains of the supply chain (e.g. distribution network design, transport, warehousing, forecasting, demand and supply planning, S&OP/IBP, Digital Supply Chain Twin, Sustainable Supply Chain…;
    • a minimum of 3 years experience with driving and managing large scale, complex and end-to-end transformation programs at multiple levels in an organization, implementing digital solutions;
    • solid change management expertise and solid , presentation - , workshop facilitation - and stakeholder management skills;
    • experience with business development, writing and reviewing proposals, elaborating estimates, financial forecasting and budget control; 
    • experience working on projects in various industries and not afraid of deep-diving in diverse and complex functional areas (e.g. Demand management & statistical forecasting, distribution network redesign, transport optimization, advanced planning & scheduling, multi echelon inventory optimization, trade-off cost/cash/service) , …);
    • digital and data analytics savvy and up to date with latest supply chain technologies;
    • a master’s degree in a Business or Engineering related field preferably complemented with an MBA or similar by experience. And with international accepted certification in supply chain management such as SCOR-P model, APICS CSCP and/or APICS CPIM as a plus;
    • additional training combined with proven expertise in Lean, Continuous Improvement methodologies, 5S, …;
    • fluent in English and either Dutch or French, with professional proficiency in the other language..
