Our client specialises in high-tech surfaces for functional or decorative coatings on metal. For more than 50 years, the company has been serving discerning international customers from a wide range of industries, standing out with innovative and market-leading technology and quality. As a recognised climate-neutral company, the company also attaches great importance to sustainable production. For the sales regions France, Benelux and Switzerland we are looking for a committed and technically experienced Sales Manager (m/f/d) to start as soon as possible.

Your tasks

  • Support of existing customers and active development/identification of new customers in the regions of France, Benelux and French-speaking Switzerland
  • Development and implementation of suitable sales, advertising, marketing or merchandising programmes for existing customers and for acquiring new customers
  • Regular customer visits to present new products and opportunities
  • Regular reporting on general market developments and new technical trends, including competitive analyses
  • Coordinating the technical requirements of customers in collaboration with the internal development department, product management and production
  • Creating, following up and negotiating corresponding sales offers
  • Tracking and controlling sales activities based on corresponding KPIs
  • Regular coordination with the management
  • Participation in suitable trade fairs and/or exhibitions

Your profile

  • Completed degree in mechanical engineering, production or surface technology with a good background in metal processing or similar technical training
  • Several years of professional experience in B2B sales of surface technology products or services, ideally in the R2R sector
  • Good market knowledge, especially in the construction and architecture and/or solar sector
  • Good knowledge of 2D/3D CAD systems (i.e. AutoCad, Autodesk Inventor, etc.)
  • High level of communication skills, especially with technically demanding customers
  • Very good MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Very good knowledge of French (at least level C1)
  • Very good knowledge of English (at least level B2)
  • High willingness to travel (focus on France/Benelux/Switzerland)
