Our client is already working with the top global players in pharmaceutical and biotech industries. In its ambition for growth with the key customers, our client is looking for an experienced Global Key Account Manager to improve service levels and client intimacy on already high levels.

Your Main Tasks

  • Responsibility for revenue and profitability targets for the assigned account portfolio
  • Definition of strategic account development plans with touchpoints at all and up to the highest levels of the account organizations
  • Development of relationships and regular visits of customer contacts
  • Establishing regular communication with key decision makers / influencers within the assigned international accounts
  • Scoping and executing account-specific strategies in alignment with the company´s sales & marketing guidelines
  • Strengthen the competitive position by negotiating prices, terms and frame contracts
  • Support or lead the agile project teams for your clients´ sales or R&D projects
  • Managing your sales pipeline and providing regular reports through the established IT infrastructure (CRM system)
  • Continuously challenging the organizational setup to the requirements resulting from market demands, profitability, and overall corporate objectives

Your Profile

  • Preferably a degree in Business (Bachelor or higher) or a comparable education with a focus on sales and marketing
  • 10 years of experience in account management of large international clients (ideally in the pharmaceutical or MedTech industry)
  • Strong background in B2B sales of high-tech products and solutions
  • Leadership / team management experience on project level
  • Passionate about quality and client relationships
  • Business fluent in English, fluent in at least one other language, German skills are an asset
  • Agile mindset and experience in matrix organizations
