Our client is a family-owned automotive company with more than 20,000 employees worldwide and a turnover in the lower billions. The company is one of the leaders in the field of mechatronic adjustment systems for interior and exterior. For a plant in the West Midlands, as part of the succession arrangements, we are looking for an experienced Plant Manager / Managing Director f/m/d.

Your Main Tasks

• Strategic and operational management of the site with approx. 1000 employees incl. direct leadership of the ten-member management team.
• Full asset and contribution responsibility for the site, including budget development and management.
• Ensure that the organisation structure maximises cost efficiencies, economies of scale, sustainable profitability, optimises manufacturing capacity and competitiveness and customer satisfaction in quality and delivery performance.
• Engage, empower and develop individuals, natural work teams and leaders to achieve an optimum and sustainable level of performance and contribution.
• Further development of manufacturing towards Industry 4.0.

Your Profile

• At least a degree in a business, technical or management related discipline.
• Profound management experience in an international company in the automotive industry.
• Excellent knowledge of business management and operational processes, as well as knowledge of budgeting
• Proven ability to lead people and achieve results through others
• In-depth knowledge of Lean Management / Six Sigma and Affinity in relation to Industry 4.0, Smart Factory, digitalisation
