The Company
For our client, a leading global manufacturer in the adhesives industry with worldwide brands, we are looking for an international Regional Account Manager (m/f/d). The position is part of the strategic business unit Adhesives Packaging & Consumer Goods.
In this position you will assume responsibility for several top customers in Germany & Nordic Region
- Marketsegment: B2B-Adhesive Industry, Chemistry, Hygiene & Tissue Products, Nonwovens
- Location: Home-based
Key Responsibilities
- Regular customer meetings to review performance and align initiatives to achieve the targets and strengthen network with all relevant business partners to create new leads/projects
- Responsible for driving all demands and be the first point of contact of all functions within the customers in Nordics, Germany and UK
- Responsible for profitable sales development of the respective business for Nonwovens and Tissue & Towel
- Analyze customer adhesive potential and competition activities and Lead & initiate contacts at plants, R&D, quality, purchasing, logistics, marketing, management level
- Define and present ambitious and achievable yearly plans
- Elaborate and negotiate successful approaches to develop the business
- Stay in close contact and exchange with the functions like AE, PD, PLM, Marketing, Management to drive profitable growth strategy in the region.
- Regular tracking of business drivers and discover gaps and opportunities in performance (Turnover, Profitability, Product Mix) and define counter-measures in case of discrepancies
Your Profile
- Bachelor or Master degree in business administration, engineering or similar
- Minimum 2-3 years of relevant work experience in technical B2B-sales
- Ability and passion to influence, motivate, and create relationships at all levels with strong focus on results and value creation
- Strong communication skills and team orientation with ability to coordinate projects with internal stakeholders, commercially and technically
- Willingness to travel in Europe and to work remotely
- Fluent in German and English, other languages like Swedish, o.a. would be a plus
