Your Responsibilities Sales & Business Development Full responsibility for sales activities of customized machinery solutions across France and the Benelux countries (potential expansion to Spain). Active acquisition of new customers and development of existing relationships. Build and expand a sustainable network within the food and beverage industry. Represent the company convincingly in a competitive market with a relatively young brand. Consultative Selling & Technical Expertise Provide consultative support to customers on technical and commercial questions to optimize their production processes. Present tailored technical solutions aligned with customer requirements. Collaborate closely with internal departments (inside sales, layout planning, engineering) to design optimal customer solutions. Strategic Market Development Analyze market trends, competition, and customer needs to identify opportunities and risks. Contribute to a more strategic market approach by leveraging an existing market model and CRM tool (Salesforce). Support the company's efforts to proactively develop the food segment (currently handled reactively). Contract Negotiation Manage the entire sales cycle through to contract negotiation and successful closure of deals. Your Profile Strong track record in B2B capital goods sales, ideally within the food and beverage packaging sector. Excellent consultative and technical planning and organizational skills. Fluent in French and English; German would be a plus. Well-established network in the food & beverage industry. Experience with Salesforce and MS Office (especially Excel); high digital fluency is preferred. Willingness to travel extensively across the sales region. This is a full-time, remote position that demands a high level of independence and professionalism. The ideal candidate will spend approximately 75% of their time traveling to customer sites, trade shows, and industry events across their territory. A minimum of five years of experience selling capital equipment into food, dairy, or beverage operations — specifically those utilizing flexible packaging — is required. In this role, you’ll be responsible for developing and executing strategic account plans, nurturing long-term customer relationships, and managing a complex sales cycle involving multiple stakeholders. You’ll work cross-functionally with engineering, applications, and project management teams to build tailored, value-driven proposals that meet customer needs and drive revenue growth. Daily tasks will include prospecting, conducting onsite visits, delivering presentations, and leading technical sales discussions, all while maintaining accurate and up-to-date sales activity in Salesforce CRM. To succeed in this position, you must be a strong communicator, technically astute, and highly organized. Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite is required, along with the ability to manage your time effectively while working independently in a fast-paced and remote environment. Experience with Salesforce is highly preferred.
