The ideal candidate will spend approximately 75% of their time traveling to customer sites, trade shows, and industry events across their territory. A minimum of five years of experience selling capital equipment into food, dairy, or beverage operations — specifically those utilizing flexible packaging — is required. In this role, you’ll be responsible for developing and executing strategic account plans, nurturing long-term customer relationships, and managing a complex sales cycle involving multiple stakeholders. You’ll work cross-functionally with engineering, applications, and project management teams to build tailored, value-driven proposals that meet customer needs and drive revenue growth. Daily tasks will include prospecting, conducting onsite visits, delivering presentations, and leading technical sales discussions, all while maintaining accurate and up-to-date sales activity in Salesforce CRM. To succeed in this position, you must be a strong communicator, technically astute, and highly organized. Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite is required, along with the ability to manage your time effectively while working independently in a fast-paced and remote environment. Experience with Salesforce is highly preferred.
